Regional Conferences
  
There is a number of regional conferences in different parts of the world which have similar purposes to the IBCM conferences at the regional level. IBCM seeks to stimulate, encourage and support these conferences.

Pan-African Brethren Conference on Missions (PABCM)
Pan-African Brethren Conference on MissionThe second PABCM was held on 9 – 14 August 2009 at Kabwe Christian Centre, Zambia, under the title of 'Toward a Life of Integrity'. Download brochure giving details.
 
 
 
The first PABCM was held in Johannesburg in November 2004, when some 100 representatives of 14 African countries and 4 western countries were present. The Great Lakes Brethren Conference
Encouraged by the Pan-African Brethren Conference on Mission 2004, representatives of East African countries met for the first time in November 2004 in Nairobi, for a second conference in November 2006 in Rwanda, and for a third conference in November 2008 at Berea Bible College, Moshi, Tanzania on the theme Mission to Africa. This was attended by some 150 people from seven East African and a few Western countries.
 
The next conference is to be held on 23 - 28 November 2010 in Nairobi, organised by the Kenyan Brethren. The cost will be approximately $US150. Partners in the Harvest Conference 2009
Conferences were convened for the Asia Pacific region in Malaysia in 2000, and in the Philippines in March 2004. A further large conference was held in Seoul, South Korea, on 15 - 18 August 2006.
 
The Partners in the Harvest 2009 conference was held at Petaling Jaya Gospel Hall, nr. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 29 April – 2 May 2009. It was attended by nearly 150 people from some 20 countries other than Malaysia (14 from the Asia-Oceania region) and by over 200 people from Malaysia. Brethren in Europe Conference
The very successful, second Brethren in Europe conference (for Brethren leaders from European countries) was held at Modra-Harmonia, near Bratislava, in Slovakia on 1 - 4 July 2009 in co-operation with leaders among the Slovakian Brethren. 165 representatives of 24 European countries met on 30 June –1 July 2005 in Wiedenest, Germany at the first conference. At the 2005 conference a declaration on church growth and church planting in the Brethren movement in Europe was agreed (press release and Wiedenest declaration).
 
Consideration will be given to holding a futher Brethren in Europe Conference in 2013.
 
1o Encontro Igrejas dos Irmaos dos PLOP - Paises de Lingua Oficial Portuguesa
The first meeting of representatives of Brethren churches in Portuguese-speaking countries took place at the Centro Biblico Esmoriz, Portugal, on 29 September - 3 October 2008 on the subject of 'Construindo pontes... (Cooperacao e Comunhao)' ) ('Building bridges - co-operation and community'). Poster, information, letterThe conference was attended by over 50 representatives from Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Brazil and the USA as well as three observers from the United Kingdom. Brethren Assemblies of Paraguay Centennial Conference
FEMIPA (Fundación Evangélica Misionera del Paraguay) held a conference with international speakers on 22 - 31 August 2008, celebrating 100 years since the first establishment of assemblies in Paraguay. Invitation letter and brochure.
 
Bermuda Missions Conference
A conference was convened by the Bermuda Brethren on 18 –23 October 2006.  Many Caribbean countries were represented, and there were also participants for North America, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Zambia.
