Greetings in our Saviour’s Name. We thank Him for all of you reaching out to strengthen and encourage believers worldwide of whom we are part of the beneficiaries, in both spiritual and material resources. Indeed you are in His will as you accomplish His purposes in the world according to Mth.7:21 ‘’Not everyone that say to me Lord, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven.’’
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, our country has been ravaged in all sectors of our economy. Right now the plague is swirling tactfully into the countryside causing mayhem to the lives of human beings. The medics are announcing every day the number of infected and dead people, showing the chart is on the upward trend which may result in another lockdown.
THE CHURCH.
This is the time that the strong will say, ‘’For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.’’ Leaders in our local assemblies have ventured to shine irrespective of challenges around them; they value more the glory that the Lord Jesus will soon reveal to them as they work. The locust ravaged the greens, the flood rippled the remains and the plague is now summarised with a quell of death targeting the populace with scary disdain. Remember us in your prayers.
PRAYER:
Please pray for the following:
1. 1 .The brethren assemblies to be steadfast in faith and doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ as hunger is eminently experienced in our country.
2. Pray that the Lord may provide for members of our local assemblies, food, protective equipment and materials to sustain them during this pandemic.
3. Pray for the infected and orphaned children.
