The two verses in the Bible to inspired us in the time of pandemic, the first verse is Galatians 6:10, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” The pandemic gave us the opportunity to help believers along with other people. Through this we can share the Gospel, this is the time to show the love of Christ.
The second verse was: “For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God” (2 CORINTHIANS 9:12). After the distribution we have received many calls, messages and audio messages, giving thanks. The credit for this, goes above all to our God, and secondly credit goes you all who supported us with your prayers and donations. We have helped people in Banjara Chikkaballapur, Tumkur and Bangalore.
In Banjara Chikkaballapur we gave the grocery kits to the neediest ones, as most of them work as daily wagers and now due to pandemic people have lost their job. This has made them starve. All the people were happy and thanked us from the depth of their heart as this help gave them hope. The evangelist of this place also requested that there is also another group of people known as ‘Lambanis’ living in the forest and their only means of income was taking the firewood from the forest and selling it in the town but now they are not allowed to do so. Therefore, these tribal people are in desperate need of our help.
In Bangalore we helped an evangelist distribute the grocery kits in the slum area. Bangalore is a place where due to the pandemic the majority has lost their job which was the only source of income. The evangelist asked our helping hand to support as he was also a victim of the pandemic of losing his job and was unable to look after his family and the church members. Therefore, with the help of the children of God we were able lend our helping hand to the neediest people of the Bangalore slum.
Thank you for all you prayers and supports.
Yours in the Lord’s service,
M Raju and Team
